What are writing prompts?

So a writing prompt is a way to great better at writing or get out of writer's block. For example the poll that I have up are three different prompts. Prompts can be about describing the objects around you by color and size or how you became captain of a pirate ship. Prompts can have elements of mystery, sexuality, morality, and just plain old Wonderland madness.

The three prompts:
  1. Word Bank Poem is going to be a 15 line poem with 15 random words in it.
  2. Murder Story is about how a crazy person tries to reason with a cop about why they killed one of their love ones.
  3. Trapped in a Labyrinth is about trying to get out of a labyrinth in 1 hour or else.
That's the short version of what the prompts are, what I have to do is write within the guide lines of the prompt. That is why voting is important because you get to choose which one you want to read.

So I Can't Read Minds

This probably isn't shocking but I don't have super powers. Even if I did it won't be mind reading it would be something awesome like reality bending. The point is that this blog needs the readers to comment on it. I could go on and just do whatever comes to mind but that's boring to me.

Naturally the focus is going to be on writing and what it means to be an author. But that doesn't mean I do all the talking. Leave suggestions on material you'll like to read about and how I can make this blog better. I am an entertainer and the noise of the audience tells me what I need to do to keep the show fun.

So leave your comments and polls are going to be a thing on this blog so do be sure to vote because it informs me on the material that I need to write on here.

So, I can't Drive

Back in April 2013 I was sitting  in my first class of the day. Naturally I was a little angel that did nothing wrong. When a blinding pain hit my head and my vision became as if someone forced puzzle pieces to fit in the incorrect place. After being told that I wasn't going blind, even though I already knew that I just couldn't see correctly, I went to the nurse office and was sent home.

So skipping over some boring stuff like the Urgent Care visits my mom took me to the ER. Now while I know it's not nice to sass the doctor, but it was so late at night and I was hungry.  To be fair the doctor did sass me back. So I got a scan of my brain and the doctor told me I had a stroke. Like a normal person I cried, very hard and I had to hold my mom who was also crying at the time. So I stayed holed up in the hospital for four days (it felt longer). Naturally when my family found out they all suffered different levels of freaking out.

Skipping other details that are not needed for the story I started getting dizzy spells at first once or twice a week. Then they started to increase to the point that I have at least one spell daily. It can happen while I'm laying down, sitting up, or standing. My reaction to what is happening around me slows down greatly while I go through one. My fear is that if I'm driving I won't be able to react fast enough if I'm behind the wheel.

And that's why I don't drive at least right now.

Hey Lookie I have an Idea!

So since my thoughts are free, I thought instead of just posting about how I don't have money, why don't I also post writing prompts that I did. That way you the readers can also see my strengths and what I need to work on. And because I'm still working to become a professional writer you get to watch me grow! Of course leave your thoughts on this and what type of prompts do you think you'll like to read?

The World Cost too Much!

This is coming from a college student with no income. So the McDonald's dollar menu is expensive to me. But I have the dream of becoming a professional writer which means that my income may still be shaky. Not only that but I want to be a professional photographer as well. I must not believe in living without my mother. My poor mama can never go man-hunting with me around.

So I composed a list of thing I need to get myself off the ground;
1. My own computer(what I am currently using isn't mine)
2. Adobe Photoshop and Light room
3. College
Those three thing alone make me want to faint at the prices. And that's if I get an old model laptop, one of the older Adobe software programs and went to community college. Which is what I'm doing already. Life is beautiful don't you think?

Now as for getting a "real job" what should I do?  Well I do like clothes so I could work in retail. But I can't drive. There is a good reason for that which I will talk about in another post. As I am now, all I can do is crawl.
