This story takes place in Libya while it's under the Roman Empire. A dinner party is hosted by a prominent family with a number of wealthy families attending. The host of the party is a widower and is pushed to find a new wife. Two families wish for their eligible daughters to catch his attention. The widower has already set his eyes on one of the women. However, someone in the widower's family schemes to change the outcome of the party.
